Video: Lubbock, Texas Judge Tom Head Warns of UN Invasion if Pres. Obama is Re-Elected
Lubbock County Judge Tom Head and Commissioner Mark Heinrich discussed why it is necessary to raise the local tax rate next year, on Monday, reports Fox 34 News.
The tax increase is needed, they said, for attorneys in the D.A.'s office, more staff for law enforcement and also emergencies, such as President Obama's re-election (video below).
Judge Head said: “He's going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the UN, and what is going to happen when that happens? I'm thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we're not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we're talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy."
"Now what's going to happen if we do that, if the public decides to do that? He's going to send in U.N. troops. I don't want 'em in Lubbock County. OK. So I'm going to stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say 'you're not coming in here'. And the sheriff, I've already asked him, I said 'you gonna back me' he said, 'yeah, I'll back you'. Well, I don't want a bunch of rookies back there. I want trained, equipped, seasoned veteran officers to back me."

At least that would provide
At least that would provide some reason why TOTUS got the Nobel Prize on the come.
So much for an independent
So much for an independent judiciary.
i agree with mark, but this
i agree with mark, but this guy is friggin nuts.

Elisabeta Tepes........from a legal standpoint it may be advisable for you to be more careful how you verbalize your anger.
Calling this man crazy is
Calling this man crazy is being naive. Even Barry Goldwater could see the intentions of Christian fanatic & the John Birch Society groups. They change names but never their goals. Moral Majority, Neo-Cons, Religious Right, the Christian political movement: every GOP extremist faction has been organizing (rather, re-organizing) since Wm F. Buckley stripped their powers in the 70's. The mainstream Republicans of the 80's thought they could again use the money & pulpits of the lunatic fringe without losing control of their Party. They were wrong. We've have all watched as the fringe groups turned on the RNC to oust every sane, moderate Republican politician to replace them with their own kind of "Christian". These people aren't looney; they are terrifying. Romney's just a wealthy guy who wants fame. I don't think he had any idea how strong the extremist in the GOP had become. Romney isn't politically savvy. He's no Ronald Reagan. He isn't strong enough or even motivated enough to lead his Party his own way. But Santorum couldn't win over rational Voters, so Romney the electable wimp is their perfect puppet. The Tea Baggers, or however you label them, always have Ryan in the wings should Romney find some guts. What do call a political faction that encourages it's members to take up arms against their fellow Americans if they refuse to vote for their candidates? In the US we call them Republicans.
Obama has already started his
Obama has already started his executive order crap. Bypass discussion, just make it happen. We are just getting a taste of it now. He has said that once re-elected he will have more leway to function. He will be unstoppable and first will be a grand amnesty that will make millions legal and soon voters. This will insure that the Democrats can not lose another election. Already those agencies who arrest illegals and who are told by those illegals that they went to school here and lived here since children, have been ordered to release those illegals...and those illegals making such statements do not have to show any proof whatsoever. Obama has simply ordered their release. Do you think this might get around and be used by the majority of illegals? Yes, I think so.
Your taxes will increase to support these people to insure their loyalty to the party. Obama will not care what the general public thinks as it will be irrelevant, he will have 4 years of rule.
I'm guessing this will upset some people....
And to think you are worried about what a proven successful businessman might do to this country...after a totally inexperienced, never ran a hot dog stand guy threw money at anyone who had a nice environmental idea and lots of campaign contributions to offer.
That extremely intelligent
That extremely intelligent framing of republican politics was masterful!! you nailed it perfectly kudos my friend.
How unfortunate that neither
How unfortunate that neither one of the parties did not recognize your genius in time to have you represent them in the coming election. Give me a break.
What about the children's
What about the children's author who wanted to kill Bush Jr.? Technically not sedition because he waited until after his terms, right? All the same, another wackjob.
As much as I hated Bush Jr.
As much as I hated Bush Jr. (aka the boy who would be king), calling for his death is an extremist and nearsighted move. That would have made him a martyr, and people just love martyrs.
Putting him in prison, which is where he belongs, however, would show the world that he was exactly what he is....a traitor and oathbreaker.
This judge is calling for treasonous sedition and making the idiotic claim that UN troops will invade us, which is not only ridiculous, but shows just how out of touch with reality Texas Republifascists really are.
The judge should be removed from the bench, disbarred and imprisoned, just as that author should have been tried for inciting violence.
Violence is the first resort of a fool and the last resort when diplomacy and the law fails. 3 guesses which one applies to this judge.
The insanity principle is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. The far right, the far left, vegans, creationists and other extremists believe in the insanity principle, religiously.
How does that in anyway
How does that in anyway reduce the impact of what this man has said or what he threatens to do?
not a damned bit. Just trying
not a damned bit. Just trying to clarify a point for myself.
And that man can jump in a vat of jelly for all I care.
I have to say, IF the rather
I have to say, IF the rather farfetched circumstances he's describing ever did come to pass, he might be onto something. If this whole UN storm happened, it wouldn't be crazy to respond in such a manner. But it isn't. Nothing of the sort is going to happen. The world will keep turning. So many people think the world is going to end in their lifetime. But it's not. The truth of it is, none of us are that interesting.
This judge is a typical
This judge is a typical full-fledged member of the paranoid, rumor-mongering, over the cliff, right-wing whackjob bunch.
I own and shoot firearms on a regular basis, and you wouldn't believe - or maybe you would - what is said in gun shops, shooting forums and gun blogs, and at various ranges.
There are significant numbers of people who feed their appetite for news strictly from Faux and ultra right wing commentators. They apparently believe - I think more because they WANT to believe - that somehow Obama is going to just willy nilly send in storm troopers to take their guns away, turn the US government over to the UN, and declare a communist (or socialist, depending on their time of the month) politburo to be in charge.
They are buying ARs and AKs faster than they can be manufactured, BEFORE Obama, again, somehow halts production and imposes martial law. They stockpile ammunition of every sort by the tens of thousands of rounds. The media makes much of people like Holmes, about his so-called arsenal, ammo stockpile, etc., but that's nothing. A member at a gun club where I am a member stated in an open business meeting, he had 13 M-1's that people were welcome to borrow, and then says "when [emphasis on "when"] they come to take your guns away, you better know how to shoot." And the 13 M-1's are only the tip of this guy's iceberg. These people absolutely believe revolution is coming.
This crazed gun culture (I've owned and handled firearms for 50 years and there was never a "gun culture") goes hand in hand with much of the right wing extremist philosophy. We are talking about people with plenty of firearms, only looking for the lamest excuse to use them.
Thanks Canislupis for posting
Thanks Canislupis for posting your info! Nice to know there are some gun enthusiasts out there who don't buy into the paranoia. Watch your back :-)
I wish I had written what you
I wish I had written what you did. I've also owned and shot guns for about 50 years and know of no "gun culture" other than most of my relatives and friends own guns that we use on a regular basis. I'm a Democrat too by the way.
I sitting in a TX jail having
I sitting in a TX jail having been convicted by this guy I would be looking at this as a get out of jail free card.
Will some please tell me A-
Will some please tell me A- why isn't this judge standing before a federal judge on charges of sedition-B- why hasn't he been terminated yet???? if a liberal judge made comments like this fux news would talk about 24/7 till Christ returned!! Bill o'reilly would be going nuclear!!! limbaugh would be yaking about this for months!!! glen beck would be crying and ranting like crazy!!!! What the hell is going on with america!!
Actually I think there has
Actually I think there has been a decrease in the intelligence level of Americans - much like you just demonstrated with your rant.
Because he knows just enough
Because he knows just enough law to stay on the edge just before committing sedition, while giving others the idea to do it.
He's predicting an armed revolt without actually encouraging it. He does know the people around him well enough to know some of the are saying, "Damnright!, let's stock up on stuff and be ready to stop that sumbitch."
What's going on is the neo-cons and religious reich (same thing, really) are running scared and ready to break the country before they will be driven into the trash heap of history,
The idiot is clearly a
The idiot is clearly a conspiracy theorist from Texas......nuff said.
The insanity principle is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. The far right, the far left, vegans, creationists and other extremists believe in the insanity principle, religiously.
The republican party which is
The republican party which is 87% white 37% over the age of 65 is simply a party of old white typically racist males! I remember when republicans wanted to call anyone unpatriotic for simply not supporting the phony ass war! But in their twisted deeply mentally disturbed universe it's totally patriotic and rational to advocate the armed overthrow of an legality elected president. Republican are an embarrassment to this nation!! Now watch fux news make a hero out of the judge!!
This guy is pretty obviously
This guy is pretty obviously detached from reality and needs to be removed from his office - would you really want a crackpot with delusions of grandeur and a persecution complex to be overseeing your legal proceedings? Or did we just discover Namvet/ross's real-life identity?
OMG - the nuts are coming out
OMG - the nuts are coming out of the woodwork. This guy should be committed. Or put in jail for sedition.
I doubt he'll be arrested,
I doubt he'll be arrested, same as the writer in Virginia, do they deserve to be arrested? I think so, this is slander of character and insulting a current U.S President. Do I like President Obama? Not really, I don't like any politcians, but I know I'm more nervous about Mr. Romney and his VP choice getting into office, but I doubt the windbags and loons will say anything about Romney when he exports all the jobs overseas.
It's a logic situation, would you rather pay Mr and Mrs Chang $0.15 an hour? Or your typical American $7.50 to $8.00 an hour? Not even a choice when your main motivation is profit and Romney is all about the money, same as any politician, more so for him because he's a business man.
Since Odumba the puppet clown
Since Odumba the puppet clown chooses again and again to wage war on fellow citizens his patriotism isn't in question, he is a known enemy of every American not having his head up his ass.
DEA - traitors that wages war daily on US citizens. FDA - does NOTHING to protect anyone but the profit of the 1% SEC - see above FBI - criminals with badges CIA - See above except psychopaths
The list goes on ad-nauseum, not a single government agency not staffed by incompetent droolers or criminal scumbags.
Romney the moron will be even a bigger tool of the 1% than odumba is.
Those that can't or won't defend themselves can only be slaves.
Please tell me some of the
Please tell me some of the ways Obama has "waged war" on our fellow citizens? Is passing a bill that helps get everyone health insurance now considered waging war? Is trying to fund education considered waging war? I'm really curious.
DEA - I'm not a fan of the useless "war on drugs" but that was not started or escalated by Obama. FDA - I'm a fan of safe food. Since the FDA was instituted we've gone from thousands of people dying of food-born illness every year to an average of 10-20/year. I agree it's in the pockets of the food industry these days but that's been going on since long before Obama. SEC - Also in the pocket of corporations and needs reform but if you really want to be fucked financially then by all means eliminate it. FBI & CIA - Definitely some problems there but again, doing it since long before Obama.
Sedition is a long sentence
Sedition is a long sentence criminal offense. Hope this guy is stocking up on soap on a rope.
The saddest part is that the
The saddest part is that the party, which used to be pretty moderate, has become the fringe element of society by allowing the fringe element to become the leaders in the party.
This treasonous judge is just a symptom of that disease that has infected the GOP.
Eventually, the party will self-destruct. It has already begun, but the end can not come soon enough.
The insanity principle is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. The far right, the far left, vegans, creationists and other extremists believe in the insanity principle, religiously.
I agree, except the
I agree, except the Republican Party isn't self-.destructing. It's fanatic factions are just purging all that is left of reason, moderation and cooperation in service the service of country. What were the fringe elements in the GOP are now it's core. Anyone who doubts this can simply look at the legislation introduced the past 3 yrs by current Republican Congressmen. No jobs bills. Plenty of bills on abortion, marriage, family relations, & religion.
Gem, that IS a sign of
Gem, that IS a sign of self-destructing.
Remember that the NAZIS cult in Germany was in the midst of self-destruction when WWII ended. The were led by fringe thinkers, too.
Regarding those bills, look at all of the opposition to them that has come out of the woodwork. 20 years ago, few people were involved in politics, compared to today.
Many people that were single issue voters, then, have become "big picture" voters today because of the GOP cult. We call those people, "moderates"; something which is fast vanishing from the GOP cult (yes, they are a cult).
Some common characteristics of cults:
1. Displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader and (whether alive or dead) regards its belief system, ideology, and practices as the truth and/or law.
2. Polarized, us-versus-them mentality – demeaning those who do not share their beliefs, sowing fear and mistrust amongst members about such people.
3. Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished.
4. Elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for its leader(s) and members who are on a special mission to save humanity.
5. Teaching or implying that its exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary to achieve them.
These are all characteristics that the GOP has, in abundance, and this judge just demonstrated Number 5 in is statements.
Romney and every other candidate for the GOP/teabaggers, running for office, demonstrates #'s 1, 2, 3, and 4 (and some have touched on #5, even just briefly).
I was smart. I quit that cult when I realized what it was becoming, because I love my country and the Constitution more than I love ANY political party.
