Cheney, who was President George W. Bush’s vice president, told Fox News: “I’m a big fan of Paul’s. I can’t think of a better choice. I really just think that it is a vital one and I want to give Gov. Romney very high marks for making it.”

“I think that what he has done here is take, and put front and center in his campaign, somebody who has been spending time and energy addressing the most serious problem we face as a nation.”

"I’m delighted with the Paul Ryan choice. I think he’d make a great vice president.”
