Former Republican Secretary of State Colin Powell endorsed President Obama for the presidency, as he did in 2008, on CBS ' 'The Early Show' (video below).
Powell said: “I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012. I’ll be voting for him and vice president Joe Biden next month,” reports Mediaite.com.
Powell described how President Obama inherited an economic disaster from the Bush administration, stabilized the economy, ended one war [in Iraq] and was ending a second war [Afghanistan]. He also added that President Obama has not started any new wars.

He also expressed concern about Romney and how truthful he has been with the American people and added: “Not only am I not comfortable with what Gov. Romney is proposing for his economic plan, I have concerns about his views on foreign policy."
"The governor who is speaking on Monday night at the debate was saying things that were quite different from what he said earlier. So I’m not quite sure which Gov. Romney we would be getting with respect to foreign policy.”
