Mitt Romney's oldest son Tagg Romney claims that his dad never actually wanted to be president, even though he ran twice.
Tagg Romney recently told The Boston Globe: "He wanted to be president less than anyone I’ve met in my life. He had no desire to... run."
Popular VideoIt turns out President Trump's budget has $2 trillion error in it:
"If he could have found someone else to take his place... he would have been ecstatic to step aside. He is a very private person who loves his family deeply and wants to be with them, but he has deep faith in God and he loves his country, but he doesn’t love the attention."
Tagg claimed that he and his mother Ann Romney pushed Mitt to run.
However, this would contradict Ann Romney's claim that she made a video after Mitt Romney's failed run in 2008 and said: "Sweetie, I'm never doing this again!"
Tagg Romney claims his dad has plans to help shape the GOP ideologically: "Having been through it, you know so much more than when you haven't."
