Sarah Palin Uses Racist Term 'Shuck and Jive' to Attack Pres. Obama?

| by Michael Allen

Former half term Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin used the term “shuck and jive” in a recent Facebook post to attack President Obama for what she claims is a "cover up" over the attack of the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya.

“Shuck and jive” is a phrase that referred to the overly subservient language that African-Americans used towards whites in America’s Jim Crow days in the early 1900s.

It was a tactic of both survival and resistance for black people who would say "Oh, yes, Master," but had no real intention to obey, reports the Daily Mail.

Her Facebook post, entitled 'Obama’s Shuck and Jive Ends With Benghazi Lies.' said: "Why the lies? Why the cover up? Why the dissembling about the cause of the murder of our ambassador on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil? We deserve answers to this. President Obama’s shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end."
