Pres. Obama Punching Bag Causes Controversy at Indiana Fair

| by Michael Allen

At a fair in Muncie, Indiana, a punching bag portraying President Barack Obama as a boxer with a black eye has been removed from the Republican Party tent, after fair attendees complained.

It was displayed at various times this week at the fair.

Delaware County GOP spokesman Tom Bennington told The Star Press that he thinks the punching bag was placed in the tent by party leaders.

Not surprisingly, Bennington said that the punching bag was "meant in fun" to show how Republicans hope to defeat Obama in November.

Bennington added that he found it "mildly offensive" because of how it portrayed the President of the United States.
