Kansas State Board May Remove President Obama from Election Ballot over Birth Certificate

article image

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach said that the State Objections Board was considering removing President Barack Obama from the Kansas ballot this November, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal.

Kobach, an informal advisor to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, said the State Objections Board agreed consider whether to take President Obama off the ballot because they lacked sufficient evidence about his birth certificate.

Kobach told the Topeka Capital-Journal: “I don’t think it’s a frivolous objection, I do think the factual record could be supplemented.”

The State Objections Board is looking at a complaint filed by Joe Montgomery, of Manhattan, Kansas, who claims President Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen.

The State Objections Board will send records requests to Hawaii, Arizona and Mississippi for more documentation of President Obama’s birth.

President Obama released a copy of his long-form birth certificate in 2011.

Kansas needs to be worried

Kansas needs to be worried about why their kids are starving. Kansas needs to be worried about their meth addicts ruining their state. Kansas needs to be worried about the judgment from God it's about to receive for allowing their women to be abused. But what Kansas doesn't need to be worried about is Obama's citizenship. Obama's mom cheated on his Dad with an American-Frank Marshall Davis.

Kansas citizens do you ever get sick and tired of letting your tax dollars go to the rich politicians and show-off pastors? Kansas men, do you EVER want anything better for your women and kids? Do the men in Kansas even have testicles anymore? The government runs Kansas men up one side and down the other, and the Kansas women allow it.

Perhaps that's why the citizens of Kansas need better teachers: to understand when they are being used.

Obama needs to deal with this

Obama needs to deal with this matter -- if he truly can. Does anyone know what became of that AZ sheriff's claim that there are factual items showing the long form Obama showed was fraudulent? Can anyone debunk that with real info, as it sounds like they have real info showing that LF BC cannot be legit.

Okay, so if not, Obama needs to show some proof, simple as that. After all, it is part of the rules of becoming a president. We all have rules to live by, & rich or famous people should not get a free pass to do as they please. I'm tired of that, and I'm tired of people playing games.

If he cannot clear up the matter, I say Kansas SHOULD knock him off the ballot. It won't mean anything per say, as Kanasas is a clearly red (GOP) state, but states & the people should stop tolerating the abuses of politicians & the influential. I know there's a man who has been bogusly run out of court in evil preference & cronyism -- a site called Supremely Unjust proves it. We need all the corruption to GO. Give us truth. GIve us valid leaders & just courts, etc. The govt needs to stop playing the people for a bunch of fools.

cityboy's picture

It's been dealt with and

It's been dealt with and settled. There still being a handful of nutjobs out there who keep repeating "oh no you didn't!" and "I don't believe it!" doesn't mean the issue isn't settled, just that they can't accept the truth.

Aside from the AZ sheriff having plenty of legal troubles of his own, he's also not qualified to verify the validity of documents like that. That said, a copy of the document put on a web site isn't the document itself and finding compression artifacts in the file isn't going to prove or disprove anything. The only thing the birther argument does is highlight what morons the US has to put up with in its midst.

State of Reason's picture

Obama has dealt with this and

Obama has dealt with this and so have the courts. This case was even presented to the Supreme Court and they threw it out because there was no merit to the claim.

"Obama needs to show some proof, simple as that" Obama has shown proof. He released both his "short form" and "long form" birth certificates. Of course, he didn't actually need to show any proof. I'm not sure how long you've been in our fine country but our constitution guarantees that we be considered "innocent until proven guilty". In other words, until you come up with some evidence (not just claims of crazy people but actual evidence) that he is not a citizen he doesn't have to do shit. As someone who is accusing him of a crime it is your responsibility to prove he's guilty, not his responsibility to prove himself innocent.

Ingracewetrust's picture

He has already started

He has already started clearing up the matter if you are paying attention. He said just yesterday on his last campaign stop that he was born to a "single mother" instead of claiming Obama SR is his Dad. Frank Marshall Davis, an American, is Obama's real dad. That's why he's not worried. Some people have no common sense. Don't you think Bill and Hillary Clinton would have already destroyed him if they didn't know better? Smh.

If the citizens had focused on him NEVER creating any viable jobs, for his entire time in office, instead of focusing on hating him because he's Black, he'd have already been impeached.

Well, let's spend a few

Well, let's spend a few minutes with Google and see what we can see.

Obama said he could not be bothered with all that "birth certificate nonsense" in 2008. According to professional document examiners, Obama's people released an obviously forged "certificate of live birth" in 2009. And two more in 2010. Plus another obvious forgery in 2011. The "how" of those forgeries is demonstrated many times at YouTube, a search for "illustrated birth certificate" will get you started.

So we are left with exactly no legitimate birth certificates. When a ten dollar bill and a note would get a legitimate Certified Certificate of Live Birth from the State of Hawaii. And surely the Campaign could find a notary willing to attest to a "true and faithful copy" for inclusion with the Democrats 2008 "attestation," (NOT Certify, attest) that their candidate met the Constitutional requirements to be president: i.e., old enough and born to "natural born Americans."

As I said, this whole affair could be settled quite straightforwardly with a ten dollar bill and a note. Or a ten dollar bill and a telephone call. If Obama is broke, almost any reporter in Hawaii would be more than happy to pony up a ten and do the leg work.

And if Obama were to produce a legitimate Certificate, a whole lot of people would look pretty silly. Instead, this mess has run on for almost five years now, since the Clinton Campaign started it in 2007, with no actual resolution in sight.

It is time for Obama to either "fish or cut bait." Prove his qualifications - or stop campaigning for an office he is not qualified for.

This birther nonsense has got

This birther nonsense has got to stop. There is no credibility to this conspiracy theory. This Kansas Board has no authority to prevent Mr. Obama from being on the General Election Ballot.

HolySmokes's picture

I think the birther stuff is

I think the birther stuff is healthy for America. SOmeone has to keep the politicians in line by questioning them. Hey, the AZ sheriff's investigation claims they have proof the numbers & info on the long form cannot be legit due to wrong numbering data.

If that's so, when do we stop the nonsense -- at which president? DO we stop illegitimacy on a Dem or a GOP conadidate? Safe thing is to stop it whenever it's needed, no matter who it is. Both sides can call the other on things, and that is a sort of "checks & balances" to prevent breaking the rules & fraud. If the GOP think they have something & seem to be showing vaild reasoning, then Obama needs to show validity somehow. Instead, I see he always seems to be sidestepping things or withholding something.

What gives with that? Why? I don't get it. It's a simple piece of paper. IF the real deal exists or existed but got lost years ago, well, he should have thought about that BEFORE running for president I figure. After all, I have to show ID on things in life. Why does the govt always put the screws to us common people & not to themselves? They vote themselves pay-raises, give themselves port spending at our expense, etc. The rich get cozy light sentences (if any) if they do crimes, but that wouldn't happen to us "commoners" if we did something bad. Hey, the man has lived outside the USA so much of his early life that I think it is entirely legitimate to ask this question & make close examination on this -- after all, it is in our Laws for being a president. That should make it mean something. If we take it lightly, what will prevent a communist mole from infiltrating in the future? No. Korea uses non-Asians as spies already, and Russians can easily pass for Americans if the learn good enough English.

State of Reason's picture

Checks and balances have been

Checks and balances have been applied. The case has been presented to multiple federal courts and the Supreme Court and all have thrown it out because it has no merit. This has been resolved but if that's the best you have against Obama then by all means keep focusing on it.

I'm a 19 year old college student living in northeastern Kansas, and I want to vote for Obama! I don't know what I'm going to do if they remove him from the ballot. I understand that living where I do my Democratic vote won't ever have much of a legitimate impact, but it isn't worthless! My vote is my voice in this country and by removing Obama from the ballot I am essentially being silenced.

They leave the long-winded things in an effort to change the scores in anti-spam measures (the Bayesian ones that assign weights to particular words) - for this particular post by adding words that aren't associated with spam, and for future posts by hoping this spam gets fed to the filter analyzers so that the real spam words end up with a lower spam weight: so they can return to the days when they just post saying "buy this crap".
