Comedy Central host Jon Stewart and Fox News host Bill O’Reilly will debate in a pay-per-view webcast on Saturday, Oct. 6 at George Washington University, reports TheBlaze.com.
They’re calling the debate 'The Rumble in the Air Conditioned Auditorium.'
O’Reilly announced the debate on his Monday night show and warned that Stewart “is going to be taking some massive heat."
O'Reilly said the debate would be similar to presidential debates, but “without all the phoniness and pomposity.”
In a video published to YouTube, Stewart said: “Thunderdome. Two men enter, and both leave. Probably not together. Probably he’ll have his friends there, I’ll have mine. Point is this: We are gonna have an argument. It is going to be like the worst Thanksgiving anyone ever went to. I’m looking forward to it.”
The event will be live-streamed from a website the two have set up. Viewers can watch for $5. The debate will be moderated by CNN's E.D. Hill.
