| by Michael Allen

Eddie Million was recently visited by the Secret Service at his home in Moreno Valley, California, where he hung an effigy of President Obama from a noose in his front garden.

Apparently, neighbors called the police who in turn called the Secret Service.

Million's tasteless effigy has offended many people because its the president and its a black man, reports the Daily Mail.

As many people who have created similar racist displays of Pres. Obama, Million expressed total surprise by the attention and claimed that he meant President Obama no harm, reports The Press-Enterprise.

Million seemed to be amazed that Americans were offended by the display that advocated killing blacks and a sitting U.S. president.

Million told the The Press-Enterprise: "This is just a misunderstanding. This is getting all blown out of proportion. It's down. It's gone. We didn't want to hurt the president. It was just for a party."

"A noose is scary. It’s Halloween. We have zombies in the back, figures, ghosts, zombies. I started thinking how bad it looked, and I took it down immediately."

"If I had it to do all over again, I absolutely wouldn’t have done it. It was not meant to offend anybody. It was just supposed to be a decoration."
