Audio: Sarah Palin Accidentally Robocalls Kansas for Texas Candidate Ted Cruz

| by Michael Allen

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (R) accidentally robocalled Topeka, Kansas, asking for support of Texan Tea partier Ted Cruz (R) who is running in the Texas Senate race.

Topeka Capital-Journal reporter Tim Carpenter received one of Palin’s recent calls for Cruz, who is one of the leading candidates to replace Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchision (R-TX), who’s retiring in November.

Palin announces in the robocall (audio below): “Hello, Texas! I’m Sarah Palin. Ted Cruz is a true conservative you can trust to stand on principle and change the way Washington does business. Today, through May 25, please vote early for Ted Cruz for U.S. Senate.”

Cruz is currently in a battle with establishment Republican Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst.
