Audio: Defeated Rep. Allen West Compares Himself to Abraham Lincoln
Rep. Allen West (R-FL), who lost his re-election bid to Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy in November, recently compared himself to President Abraham Lincoln (audio below).
In an interview with NPR, West credited God's will for his loss and added that "Abraham Lincoln only served one term in Congress, too," reports Mediaite.com.
Rep. West said: "Look, you know, God closes a door so that he can open up greater doors. I will continue to, you know, stand up and fight for this country. That’s my goal. I have two daughters, 19 and 16."
"I want to make sure that they grow up in a great America that provides them all the opportunities that it provided to their mother and father... And always remember, Abraham Lincoln only served one term in Congress, too."

Allen West is absolutely
Allen West is absolutely NOTHING like Lincoln.
Lincoln was intelligent, educated, understood the real world and was a moderate while West is an idiot, extremist and behaves as if he is completely UN-educated and absolutely disregards the real world because it doesn't jibe with his deluded world view.
The insanity principle is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. The far right, the far left, vegans, creationists and other extremists believe in the insanity principle, religiously.
