Photos: Obama in Situation Room Monitoring Osama Bin Laden Assault

Photos have been released of President Obama monitoring the assault on Osama Bin Laden from the Situation Room at the White House. Along with Vice President Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others, the president was able to receive "audio and visual" updates, NBC News reports, according to a U.S. official.

The report said when Bin Laden's death was confirmed, applause broke out in the room.
