PETA's "Too Much Sex" Tiger Woods Billboard
By Karin Bennett
While there is some debate about whether Tiger Woods' recent public apology was sufficiently sincere, most everyone—surely including Tiger—agrees: Too much sex can be a bad thing. That's why we are offering to put up our new billboard in Tiger's hometown of Windermere, Florida.
Some people are also debating whether media outlets have gone overboard in covering Tiger's tawdry tale. Fine—let's turn our attention instead to the animals who are dying as a result of their unrestrained sexual activity.
One unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce an estimated 420,000 cats in only seven years, and a female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in six years. Many of those animals end up unwanted and unloved, often dropped off at animal shelters that are already bursting at the seams.
Just as we all know and accept that the sky is blue, we know that every time a breeder or pet store sells an animal, an animal in an animal shelter loses his or her life.
No matter where you stand on Tiger's situation, there can be no debate: The only responsible, caring decision is to spay or neuter your animal companions.

The Tiger Woods situation was already hard enough on some kids , then to sensationalize it in this fashion on a billboard for all those passing to see, really is in poor taste. We have pets at home. Our pets are spayed and neutered. I have had talks with my eight and ten year old children explaining why it is the responsible thing to do. They know the facts about why it is so important. However, enjoying someone else's shame (athlete, actor, or next door neighbor) is not a lesson I would want them to learn. This ad gives a bad message, and it takes away from the real issues.
Yes, it is a clever ad and receiving a lot of free press for PETA 's cause. I don't really buy the "showcasing Tiger's life" as a reason not to run the ad. He is a professional athlete and every mass media outlet has already covered every detail about the scandal. But some say he is mocking sex addiction : http://bit.ly/b4CFFG
Entertainment, regular news and sports stations ran Tiger's story excessively. For PETA to offer an "opinion" is out of line since Tiger is not affiliated with them. The should use that money for the billboard to send everyone in PETA to some kind of social studies class, especially the ones who lock dogs in hot cars or dump dogs off on the side of the road. google it
Maybe your organization need some type of sensitivity training. Putting Tiger on a billboard when he is not affiliated with your so called cause, is a new low and your bosses should be ashamed. I take it no one in your offices are having sex or cheating? Why don't you just put two humping dogs on the billboard to get your point across? Better yet, have a dog humping a cat to show unity among the species. None of you would want your life showcased in the manner that you're blasting Tiger. I don't even believe any of you would even confess to the indiscretions in your bedroom. Would you posterize your fetishes or the fact that maybe some of you swing? I hope Tiger sues you for using his likeness, which is copyrighted. Grow up, go to KFC and have a bucket of chicken on me.
has progressively become more and more like the National Enquirer. Celebrating the destruction of others to draw attention to and promote our agenda. We feed on gossip and gloat over anything that is demeaning to another until we have satisfied our self-righteousness and then we move on to the next person. We all have failures, but would be ouraged if used in this manner.
Cool ad .
