PETA Puts Out the Un-Welcome Mat for Ringling Bros.
Notorious animal abusers might rethink a visit to Norfolk, Virginia—home of the world's largest animal rights organization (PETA!). When Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus rolls its elephant-beating act into town, our Norfolk office holds a lively and unmissable protest to make it known that the animal circus isn't welcome here—or anywhere!
Check out yesterday's great turnout from PETA's opening-night demo. We'll be at every show to cheer the plummeting attendance figures. Please take a second to speak up for the animals who suffer for the saddest show on earth by urging the USDA to revoke Ringling's exhibitor license.

That's right. If an animal is abused, it will not perform for the "trainer". It will, most likely, make its displeasure known to the "trainer" in one way or another. Elephants are intelligent enough to know that they will hold the upper hand in any encounter with a human and, if unhappy, can make life very unpleasant for the humans involved.
Also, all animals are trained following natural behaviors of that animal species. They cannot be trained to perform unnatural behaviors. Ask any trainer of animals. They will tell you that.
PeTA needs to be honest about its agenda. It does not want any human interaction with animals. Period. End of story.Ooops, wait a second. If they did that they would not have any support at all. How silly of me to think that they would actually do any real research to back their claims. They'll not even tell you that their vegan diet requires animal based supplements for them to survive on it.
They are merely a bunch of wackos who probably do not even deserve the ridicule they get when they pull one of their stunts.
Does anyone care that animals suffer just the way we do but humans take advantage of their suffering just to make money . I wrote a letter to the editor for the Newark Avvocate regarding the treatment of the elephants at the circus in Newark, Ohio, but they would not print it because the local Sertoma group makes lots of money from the event. Can't we find some other form of entertainment that is not at the expense of animal cruelty ?
Isn't it interesting that PETA , who kills more adoptable pets that anyone in Virginia and probably the country, would protest the care of elephants at a circus . PETA is documented to have killed more than 95% of the animals it receives in its facility in Virginia. Who pray tell is the abuser in this picture? Their employees killed and dumped adoptable kittens and puppies into a dumpster behind a store. Who is responsible for more lost lives? They shout about abuse by others to cover their own abuse and killing fields. Not a group I would listen to about 'abuse'. Where do I buy my circus tickets?
Forget PETA . My ideas are mine. We shall call it, "Alayna's Code of Moral Ethics," which states that it is wrong to inflict unnecessary suffering on any man or beast." I base my values on God who said, "Thou shall not kill," and His Son Jesus who walked this earth in peace. I look to no one person or organization to decide my values. I am a nurse whose duty it is to relieve suffering. I am a vegetarian . I have no reason to kill animals , abuse people or animals, nor abort innocent babies . The world is full of evil which noone seems to care about and they only point the fingers at those who aere trying to make a differencee. DO YOU CARE ENOUGH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF ANOTHER/ DO YOU CARE TO STOP THE SUFFERING?
I respect your devotion to your religion , but what does that have to do with this issue? Jesus condoned fishing , while PETA calls fish "sea kittens", the bible gives guides for killing livestock and animals are used as beasts of burden while PETA would have all animals "free". I am a meat eater, I believe in using/breeding animals for food , leather and entertainment (with proper treatment ) but PETA would call me a " murderer ". I've trained many different kinds of animals over the years and find nothing inhumane in the care given by Ringling Brothers if you look beyone your nose as the full picture. They are gently training these animals. They are not abusing them. Now, how about PETA killing thousands of animals at their facilities that would be adoptable? THAT to me is cruelty!
My concepts are my own. Yes, i am a Christian,,but i have no " religion " i go by, except as i perceive it. i belong to no religious organization.
Wild animals belong in the wild.
I don't eat meat because i am not going to make an animal suffer for my food .
if you respected my view, you would not insult me by saying, " If you look beyond your nose, you would see the whole picture."
I see the full picture of the inhumanity of slaughterhouses.
I see the full picture of pitbulls being used for gambling , and being mangled, killed and left to die.......all for the real beasts, MAN.
iF PEOPLE WERE HALF AS GOOD AS ANIMALS, THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE..I TRUST MY DOGS SOONER THAN PEOPLE. SAD? TRUE.
