Galfond took on Hansen over several tables of $500/$1,000 Cap PLO and destroyed the Dane for $134k over 357 hands.
Apparently that was enough for Galfond as the Bluefirepoker founder would call it a night at that point.
Undaunted Hansen would move on to record victories against Doorbread and NoParasan.
Hansen has been nearly unbeatable in the last few weeks and would eventually recover to earn a $101k profit. Hansen is very close to breaking $3 million in profit this year.
Popular VideoThis judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:
Unidentified online player NoParasan was the biggest winner on the night taking down $361k, mostly from cadillac1944.
Cadillac1944, who has been known for his share of crazy swings, went on to lose even more, eventually finishing the night down $451k.
It hasn’t been a kind year for cadillac1944, who is now down $939k in 2011. The account itself is down $2.7 million total, leaving railbirds wondering where the cash is coming from.
Also active last night was the Swedish-based martonas account. Martonas played some incredibly high stakes games in mid-2009 but was largely forgotten thanks to Isildur1 subsequently appearing on the scene.
Some of the other movers and shakers last night included Dan “jungleman12” Cates (+$110k), scout326 (+$19k) and Cole South as well as Doorbread (-$120k), andrewkirk (-$89k), Darkrevenger (-$77k).
