Ohio and HSUS:

It was only a few short months ago that HSUS was claiming victory in Ohio:

Well, what a difference a few months can make.  Ohio voters have used their democratic power to replace the politicians who brokered the deal with HSUS, and it now looks like there may be a different outcome here -- with perhaps even an impending replacement of the entire Ohio Farm Bureau:

With the state losing about 700 farms a year, there is understandable concern in the agricultural sector that over-zealous animal rights laws are not good for Ohio.  Farmers in the state reject the idea that conditions for animals are as bad as HSUS claims.
