Tragedy struck during the "Extremo Aeroshow" in Chihuahua, Mexico on Saturday when a monster truck killed eight people and injured 80 more.
The driver, Francisco Velazquez, apparently lost control of the truck and plowed into horrified spectators, notes the Associated Press.
A video (below) was recorded by spectator Krizthall Martinez on the opposite side of the accident.
The video shows the monster truck driving off a platform and smashing some smaller cars, but then the monster truck keeps going into the audience.

Chihuahua Governor Cesar Duarte Juarez claimed that a test found alcohol on the Velazquez's breath.
Witnesses said Velazquez may have hit his head on the interior of the truck and his helmet may have come off before the monster truck drove into the crowd, reports Mediaite.com.
“I fell over, and when I turned around I saw the tire very close. It hit me and threw me to the other side,” said one spectator.
