Obamacare is Bad for Women, and Women Don't Want it
First Lady Michelle Obama’s video on health care reform raises important issues about female patients who are falling through the cracks of the U.S. health care system. It’s not a perfect system, but Nina Owcharenko explains that ObamaCare would take women and the rest of the country in the wrong direction. Having to depend on politicians or faceless bureaucrats to make decisions about their care doesn’t empower women or improve their health care situations. Plus, the Obama health reform agenda isn’t what women want. A majority of female respondents told the Independent Women’s Forum in a recent survey that they don’t think government-run health care is best for them or their families.

Women cost insurance companies almost twice as much as men?
The heritage foundation is a conservative think tank that is dedicated to promoting the interests of the free market.This is a push by conservative republicans to con people into believing that the insurance companies are better qualified to determine health care for Americans .
We are suppose to believe that without a gov't option that insurance cost will go down just based on the concern of the insurance companies for our well being.Republicans are determined to dig their heels in against health care reform using their vast resouces of misinformation,lies and fear based half truths. If you really want to know what position a congressman or senator holds,just follow where their money comes from.
And you think by the gov getting involved costs will go down? You must not have a clue. Please show me one gov run program that has not cost the taxpayer more than was claimed.
The reason for our current situation is due to Medicare and Medicaid. Don't worry, you will get what you deserve if this crap passes. The problem will be that none of us will deserve what we get.
Public option is not gov't takeover.If anything it is designed to provide a base of actual competition for ins.companies.Costs for medicare rose significantly under the Bush admin.plan for senior drug benefits which was a boon for big pharma.Under the guise a benefit to seniors it was intended as nothing more than a way to stop the flow of dollars across the border for cheaper prescription drugs .The medicare drug bill costU.S.taxpayers trillions of dollars and saved big pharma any threat of actual competition.The bill was backed by Phizer through the conservative think tank Cato also The Hudson Institute which was blocking the reimportation bill. We all know the lies that were spread at that time about defective drugs from Canada and blah blah blah.
The design of free market gov't is to underfund,understaff and gut gov't agencies of qualified personnel to substantiate their belief that the private sector is better equipped to provide services for the public.Essentially what you are left with is a gov't that simply a shell for Corporate interests.
If you really think that the health ins. industry will provide affordable health care without the threat of competition or accountability than you're clueless. Corporations work for profits for themselves and their investors.You're going to pay either way.
Americans seem to have succumbed to a Walmart mentality.We screw the other guy and pass the savings on to you.

most women dont want it nor does most of america.you must like being told what to do? next the government will be telling you to put a towel on your face or head to cover yourself up why??? because you wont catch some kind of disease and run up their new healthcare bill.they will put the blame on you and i when it fails.or if you dont take some kind of preventive vaccine.you will be put in jail.just wait and see its the whole new beginning to a disaster for americans if they let this bill in.and its people like yourself that likes bowing their head and being told what to do. i know i dont. we dont have much freedom left so i myself and most americans will try to keep what little we have left.

what am i making up???? it was already said americans will be put in jail, fined, or their taxes taken if they dont get insurance with this new bill.thats the truth... our government said it was the americans fault that the economy was in trouble with living above our means getting deep in debt. trying to cover up that they let our jobs go overseas...its our government that bailed out the banks and then let them turn around and screw us... it was our government that gave the credit card companys plenty of time to change their agreements and jack up their fees and screw us again.. its our government that has put high taxes on us..its our government thats got us in debt over a trillion dollars...whats so untrue about all the above statements that i just said.whats being made up.you tell us???? since you know it all.
