Obama Moves to Give Illegal Immigrants Path to Citizenship
As if he didn't already have enough on his plate, this week President Obama began campaigning for a bill that would offer a direct path for illegal immigrants to achieve full U.S. citizenship. Central to the debate over the bill is a financial question: will allowing illegal immigrants to become citizens be a boom or bust for the U.S. economy?Fox News has more:

sure make em citizens
but let's start cutting social benefits. I can really see how the europeans want to see the united states to become Lesser Mexico, Greater Mexico, and Canada. A lot of these people are anit-america. They have a contempt and hatred for it, it's almost like a instinct. they know they work for the european socialist. At least subliminally. Conservative america is the evil they're willing fighting. Where they move too, it's all latino democrat politicians and there's so much crime in their politics , it's not even news. It's a new standard. Sub standard. It's Lesser MExico.

Hey, I love America
A bunch. Just a bunch a bunch. I want everyone to be an American. I like it so much, I want to give it to all my friends and relatives. Open the borders fully, let everyone come and experience the greatness that is the US.

Take my home wll you please.
I have no idea as to the Author of this but it is a…..
Great explanation.
Subject: Let's Say I Break Into Your House!!!!
A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!!
It explains things better than all
the baloney you hear on TV.
Her point:
Recently large demonstrations have taken place
across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration .
Certain people are angry that
the US might protect its own borders,
might make it harder to sneak into this country and,
once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover me in your house,
you insist that I leave.
But I say, 'No! I like it here. It's better than my house.
I've made all the beds and washed the dishes
and did the laundry and swept the floors.
I've done all the things you don't like to do.
I'm hard-working and honest
(except for when I broke into your house).
ACCORDING TO THE PROTESTERS:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to feed me
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family
(my husband will do all of your yard work because
he is also hard-working and honest, except for that
breaking in part).
If you try to call the police or force me out,
I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs
that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.
It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do,
and I'm just trying to better myself.
I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well,
you know, I did break into your house
And what a deal it is for me!!!
I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.
Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me.
Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?!
Only in America .
If you agree, pass it on ( in English ).
Share it if you see the value of it.
If not blow it off.........
along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things.

So let's just get it straight
You copied and pasted what appears to be a chain letter, something that you didn't write.
Then you recommended your own post.
This is the order in which you acted.

The U.S. is not
your house. It's a country. I get the analogy but it's weak in my opinion. A better analogy, again in my opinion, would be:
Hey, you broke into my condominium complex. Not into any particular condo, but the complex as a whole. So damn, now I have to consider the opinions of everyone that live in this complex. And damn, if I don't like it you will protest and appeal to others in the complex trying to gain ground. And damn, now you people are going to want to use the pool, and the volleyball court, and probably the gym too. Damn damn damn. It's mine mine mine. Now, I know that you are going to pay rent on your condo in one way or another, just like everyone else here, one way or another. And you are most likely going to get a job like the other tenants. But it's mine damnit, go away.

Except that
The far left doesn't represent the whole of America, or as you put it, the expensive condo complex. Just because the far left has a majority seating in this phase of the American experiment doesn't mean all's free and fair for the illegals. People object to this nonsense, and I can guarantee you these same people will be thinking about this issue if it goes through come next voting session. There are ways to America citizenship, and riding on the back of a jackass across the border isn't one of them, unless of course you're the far left for some bizarre reason. But they also think the temperature rises because cows burp too much.

agreed
I very much agree with you. The "condo" has residents of every flavor. Please excuse how far in one direction I took it, but I was answering to a post that was in one direction only.
I would question the effect it will have on the next voting cycle. It didn't seem to help the Right in the last one, but the economy as a whole and a distaste for corporate excess filled most of the election plate. Not to mention the war(s). Certainly the Right, and a good number of the Left are not in love with our immigration policies or lack thereof.
Personally, I apply the razor. Given that it's called Illegal Immigration, and that starts with Illegal, there isn't much to talk about after that. But in all things political, the razor is dull.

Nextoor in the Condo.
I can tell you haven't paid much attetion to what Illegal Immigraton is doing to this country.
This is only one state.
1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people)are working for cash and not paying taxes . This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages..
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.
10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.
(There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County )
(All 10 of the above are from the Los Angeles Times)
Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration . 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

What?
Are not most posts in one direction. Are we now supposed to make a point and also a counterpoint in the same post. Get my point? There is no good side to illegal Immigration. I'm too old (70) for it to affect me but it will kill the future for our Grandchildren.

Don't worry too much.
If our borers are not secured, you will get your wish. By most accounts, if Illegal Immigration isn't stopped we will have an unsustainable population of over 500 million or more by 2045. We will be a third world country and the American dream will be over and Ms. Pelosi will be correct when she said, if this bill doesn't pass 500 million people will lose their jobs .

Since you can't WRITE anything yourself
I'll summarize.
There's an old guy standing in front of a Constitution graphic saying that we should be ashamed because someone called America cowards. Apparently, passing a spending bill and saying "You're all little girls, America" is the same thing according to this man.
The government is creating amnesty programs, apparently, while ignoring people who don't like that sort of thing.
See, this is the funny thing, this is the paradox of this particular rhetorical trick. "WHEN THESE MEN DEFY YOU, THEY MOCK YOU! THEY CALL YOU STUPID, AMERICA. THEY CALL YOU WEAK. AND YOU LET THEM DO IT, BECAUSE YOU ARE STUPID AND WEAK IF YOU DON'T GET ANGRY!"
Apparently we're being taxed without being represented. Just like England did. So... congress is a myth, according to this man. Elections are a myth.
The old guy is actually shaking with rage at this point. I changed my mind, you should watch this. It's like Sam the Eagle, the muppet. Except sadder.
He's saying that the problem of illegal immigration was caused by government. I suppose, if you take a really, really scaled back view, government passed laws making certain types of immigration illegal, so they're responsible for making it illegal. The US government is not responsible for, say, Mexico being there. Maybe it was during Mexican-American war.
I'll summarize by saying that none of your statistics were addressed by this video, Virgil.
"Buy a gun. You'll need it." Meaning what, Virgil?
After a bit of searching, I found out the old guy's name was Bob Basso, who is an actor who also does motivational speeches. His website is lacking, so it looks like he could use some money . I'll advertise him for free, out of the goodness of my heart.
www.bobbasso.com
Because Bob Basso needs to eat. Or at least afford more Thomas Paine wigs.
