Friday, February 18th | 6pm – 7:30pm | East Studio
Les is one of San Francisco’s most beloved yoga teachers, leading workshops and retreats around the world. His vinyasa flow classes and workshops are filled with technique and alignment cues for all levels. Having completed Ana Forrest’s teacher training, then studying and assisting extensively with her, Les’ studies and ceremonies are steeped in the Forrest tradition.
Saturday, February 19th | 12:30pm – 2:30pm | East Studio
Arm Balances and inversions are some of yoga’s most exhilarating and fun poses to practice. Learn to safely defy gravity and cultivate awareness of your body as it is positioned upside down, moving through space. This workshop is accessible to beginners, challenging for intermediate and advanced practitioners, and a great resource for instructors who want to learn how to build upon their teaching techniques for arm balancing poses.
Hips & Twists
Sunday, February 20th | 3pm – 5pm | West Studio
This session will begin by cultivating awareness of the challenges we hold in our hips and pelvic region. As we open the hips, we can begin to relax and strengthen the quads, the inner and outer muscles of the thighs and stretch the hamstrings. Unlocking this area of our bodies will also enable deep twists of the spine, which allows toning and rejuvenation of the abdominal and pelvic regions, lessening of back tension, and freeing the limitations of the neck and shoulders. This workshop is accessible to beginners, challenging for intermediate and advanced practitioners, and a great resource for instructors who want to learn how to build upon their teaching techniques for twisting poses.
