NYC Gay-Bashing Victim Damian Furtch Posts Pictures on Facebook
A New York City man, who was the victim of an apparent gay-bashing attack, has posted pictures of himself on Facebook showing the brutal injuries he sustained during the attack.
According to a report in the New York Daily News, 26-year-old Damian Furtch and a friend were at a McDonald's early Sunday morning when two men started harassing them. When they left the restaurant, Furtch said the men viciously beat him while using anti-gay slurs. His friend was not hurt.
Furtch went on Facebook, posting the photos of his two black eyes. The image has the caption "Four Stitches, Thanks Bitches!"
He also wrote:
I thought I was safe in the city I loved but apparently wearing fluorescent colored clothing and pink shoelaces really bother some f-----g a--holes to blind side me and hit me.
The News reports Furtch was spotted at a police station on Tuesday. Police are still looking for the attackers.
Lawrence Page, who owns the restaurant where Furtch works, described the six-foot, four-inch young man as a "gentle giant." He said he just moved to New York from California.
Page said of the aspiring actor/model, "I took a liking to the kid quick."

This wont be the last
time we hear of a story such as this........sickening.
Puts a face on it!
if he was this
Mouthy, then he pushed it and made matters worse. Did he cause the attack, no. Did his friend help protect him? Not if he is unscathed. Smart use of Facebook, poor choice of words. Hope they catch the bullies.
