NY Marriage Application Still Says "Bride" & "Groom"

They say the devil is in the details, and here's one detail they forgot about in New York following the legalization of gay marriage -- the marriage license application still says "bride" and "groom.

Applications for same-sex couples were first made available on Tuesday. Many rushed to be among the first to fill them out. But what they found were categories that said "Groom - Info" and "Bride - Info."

A spokesman for the New York City Council said the forms were updated by Tuesday night to include the gender neutral "Spouse - Info."

Same-sex couples can begin walking down the aisle in New York on July 25. It is now the sixth state to legalize gay marriage.
