Where's Santa? NORAD’s Santa Tracker Can Tell You

| by

My favorite celebrity this time of year is Santa Claus. So if you want to be a Santa stalker like me, the 2010 Santa Tracker is a full multimedia activity.  For the 55th year in a row the North American Aerospace Defense Command aka NORAD is tracking Santa Claus’ journey around the world this Christmas Eve.

Just go to NORAD; Santa tracking coverage starts at 6 AM on Christmas Eve, December 24.  You can also call the 2010 NORAD Santa tracker team to get Santa’s current location by dialing 1-877-446-6723. The Santa Tracker team also answers any e-mails sent to [email protected]. The Twitter account @noradsanta also tracks Santa’s location. You can also use Google Earth as a Santa Tracker. This year, using Google Maps Mobile, NORAD Santa Tracker can deliver Santa’s current location directly to any cell phone. Just visit m.noradsanta.org or visit Google Maps Mobile and search for “Santa.” The Santa Tracker also offers services through Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and TroopTube.tv.

NORAD will even track how many cookies Santa eats during his long night of travels.

NORAD said that in 2009 more than 13 million visitors from 231 countries tracked Santa online, with a further 74,000 calling the NORAD Tracks Santa Operations Center at Peterson Air Force Base.

We are always looking for celebrity photos, so if you get one of Santa, send it over.  Merry Christmas!!
