LOS ANGELES — Nicollette Sheridan, the blonde bombshell who played a sultry divorced real estate agent on ABC's popular series "Desperate Housewives," is suing the show's creator and producer for physical assault.
In a lawsuit filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the actress alleges that while on the Wisteria Lane set in September of 2008 producer Marc Cherry hit her in the face. Sheridan says that when she came forward and reported the incident to ABC, Cherry retaliated by killing off her character.
Popular VideoSNL is not a fan of the Trump administration, and it shows with every new skit they produce. Do you think they need to tone it down?
The lawsuit also names ABC and says that Cherry created a hostile work environment on the set. Sheridan claims Cherry behaved aggressively and abusively toward the other cast members and writers.
According to the Associated Press, calls to Cherry's company, Cherry Alley Productions, and to ABC Studios were not immediately returned Monday night.
