Well this will boost his show’s ratings…
Nicolas Cage received help from an unusual source over the weekend – reality TV star Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman.
Chapman posted Cage’s US$11,000 bond after he was arrested on charges of domestic abuse and disturbing the peace on Saturday in New Orleans.
The actor and his 3rd wife, Alice Kim, were having a dispute at the time of his arrest, sources say the couple was disagreeing over which rental property entrance was theirs.

According to multiple sources, Cage was “very drunk” and a cab driver called police when he pushed his wife. TMZ reports that he also goaded the police into arresting him, refusing to go quietly and asking “Why don’t you just arrest me?” So they did.
Lucky for Cage he has fans like Chapman, who released this statement to E! Online:
“Media from around the world have been requesting interviews with me today after reports surfaced about my posting a bond for actor Nicolas Cage in New Orleans….I am a truly dedicated fan of Mr. Cage and will not be granting any interviews about my client as I wish to respect his privacy.”
Meanwhile, the actor’s wife is reportedly denying any physical violence occurred, and expressing no wish to press charges.
