Both Nicolas Cage and his son Weston Cage have heaped criticism upon Weston’s mother, Christina Fulton, after she attempted to gain a conservatorship over the troubled 20 year old.
Reminiscent of the grounding of Britney Spears after her father and manager managed to gain control over her, Christina is pushing ahead to gain legal control over Weston (and his assets!) after his violent meltdown in a Beverly Hills restaurant last week.
Weston Cage, 20, was taken to a Beverly Hills medical facility to undergo a mental evaluation after he reportedly “freaked out” following an argument with his personal trainer at a Hollywood eatery last week and while Christina is taking legal action to take control of his life, Nicolas thinks it is unnecessary.
Nicholas said to TMZ: “I hope Ms. Fulton will come to her senses one day and get some help… Weston is a man. I have complete faith he will weather this well.”
Popular VideoThis judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:
Nicolas and Christina came face to face in a Los Angeles court yesterday in their legal battle over the $13 million home he bought for her and Weston after Christina claimed the actor promised her full ownership.
The pair along with their lawyers met with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Teresa Sanchez-Gordon and reached a settlement but the terms have not been disclosed.
Just like in the Britney Spears case there is a bad smell – the smell of money – hanging about Weston’s mother attempting to gain control over her son – who clearly can’t stand her.
