NFL: Ines Sainz Can’t Keep Talking About Jets

| by Alex Groberman

Now that her buzz has started to die down, Mexican television “reporter” Ines Sainz decided that the New York Jets upcoming match up with the New England Patriots this weekend was the opportune time to grab some popcorn headlines.

After all, what better way to get people talking about you than name-dropping the football team you made a laughing stock out of earlier in the year?

Speaking with Steppin’ Out magazine, the controversial “reporter” said that she believes the Jets will win the Super Bowl this year. That despite the fact that she alleged that they made inappropriate advances towards her in 2010, she has no ill-will towards the squad now.

The entire Jets organization probably can’t contain their excitement and giddiness at the thought of the “reporter” who stirred up all kinds of off-the-field nonsense picking them over the Patriots.

"They are like a star in the movies. They win games you truly believe they are going to lose. I truly believe they have the best chance to win the Super Bowl. I think Mark Sanchez will do it!"

The mentioning of “Sanchez” is particularly great because it serves as a reminder as to what sparked the controversy with the Jets in the first place. It was during an interview with Sanchez that Sainz was reportedly mis-treated by members of the organization.

Either way, it would be wonderful if Sainz stuck to amazing sports commentary like the measurements of football players’ biceps – and left the Jets alone. The last thing they need in preparation for their biggest game of the year is this annoying distraction.
