Annie Duke will return to defend her 2010 title and she will be joined by names like Go Daddy Girl and Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Chris Ferguson, Huck Seed, Daniel Negreanu, 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel and 2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate, who just ended his eight-month retirement from the game.

“Year after year, I look forward to competing among the toughest competition out there that the Heads-Up tournament brings together for fans to see nationwide,” said Duke. “I am excited to compete against the skill and mental toughness that my fellow poker players will showcase on the tables.”

Leeann Tweeden will serve as host and sideline reporter with Craig Hummer and Ali Nejad providing commentary for the broadcast set to air on NBC this Spring.

As always, the tournament is a single-elimination, bracket-style format modeled after the NCAA college basketball championship tournament with a best-of-three final.

First round opponents will be chosen at random during the tournament's Draw Party held at PURE Nightclub March 3.

Play begins March 4.
