If there was any doubt that Keith Olbermann favors Democrats, that was erased with the relevation that he made donations to Democratic candidates in this week's elections. MSNBC suspended Olbermann because of the donations.

"I became aware of Keith's political contributions late last night," MSNBC president Phil Griffin said in a statement. "Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay."

Politico reports that Olbermann made three donations of the legal maximum of $2,400 to two Democrats in Arizona and one in Kentucky.

Politico said one of the donations, to Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva, was made the same day Grijalva appeared on his MSNBC show, "Countdown."
