He later Tweeted:

“It was an inside joke between friends. I had no intention of things turning out this way,” and “Tonight I truly understand the difference between fame & infamy.”

Other Tweets from him include:

“Oh btw to all the haters..damn right I apologized…that’s what grown men do but I’m not changing for you or nobody else”

“I don’t do sh– for attention”

“Now that all eyes are on me I should bring attention to the problems facing our youth today”

And he did. He listed numerous problems in the world today and said he was trying to raise awareness about them. Well, he gets points for creativity!

CNN responded about the fake ‘Morgan Freeman is dead’ tweet, and they aren’t exactly happy about it.

From @CNN: CNN did not report Morgan Freeman death. Rumor is false. CNN will aggressively investigate this hoax.

Way to sound threatening, but really, what can they do?

Well, at least Morgan Freeman is not dead, and the guy apologized. Same ish, different day. Such is the internet!
