Sarah Palin Says Liberals Shouldn't Care About Fast Food Wages (Video)

Former half-term Alaska Governor and current Fox news commentator Sarah Palin recently lashed out at Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts), who strongly supports living wages for people who work fast food jobs.

Palin was responding to Sen. Warren's 11 progressive beliefs on her new website (video below).

In her first belief, Warren said, "We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement and we're willing to fight for it."

Palin responded by saying, "Washington D.C. needs to take less of our money, it needs more scrutiny, fewer bureaucrats and it needs a reminder of the principles laid down in the Constitution that our leaders swore to defend. Furthermore, we believe that crony capitalism is affecting both sides of the aisle in D.C."

However, none of this had anything to do with Sen. Warren's call for regulating Wall Street, which crashed the American economy in 2008, thanks to lax federal regulations. Palin made no mention of the corruption on Wall Street. notes that Palin's strangest response came when Sen. Warren stated, "We believe that fast food workers deserve a livable wage and that means when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them."

“Wait, I thought fast food joints, don’t you guys think that they’re, like, of the devil or something?" stated Palin. "That’s what liberals, you want to send those evil employees who would dare work at a fast food joint that you just don’t believe in, thought you wanted to, I dunno, send them to Purgatory or something. So they all go vegan and, uh, wages and picket lines, I dunno, they’re not often discussed in Purgatory, are they? I dunno why are you even worried about fast food wages because…” notes that 3.6 mllion Americans, who work at fast food restaurants, earn an average of $8.94 per hour, which is close to the poverty line for a family of three.
