There’s nothing people won’t do for a fat paycheck, as Rapid Realty employees proved recently. Over forty employees have gotten tattoos of the company’s logo in exchange for a fifteen percent increase in salary.

Stephanie Barry was more than willing to brand herself with the New York City company’s logo, which looks more like a cult symbol than anything else, for a little extra spending dough.

“I was like, why am I throwing my money away when I could give myself from $25,000 to $40,000 for the same amount of work?” Barry said.

The idea came to Anthony Lolli, manager of Rapid Realty, when an employee shared a tattoo of the company’s logo in a gesture of exceptional dedication. Since then, Lolli has paid for every employee’s tattoo.

“I think it’s a good opportunity to show commitment to a company that makes going to work fun every day,” Robert Trezza, the 40th employee to get inked, said.

The tattoos also act as a marketing device as well, where the employees are essentially walking billboards.

“Talk about marketing!” tweeted Rapid Realty.

Despite birthing the idea, Lolli has yet to stamp himself with the company’s logo. He has promised to follow through, though. Eventually.
