A California preschool has come under fire after it was revealed one of its teachers tied up a 2-year-old girl with masking tape when she refused to take a nap.
According to police and state authorities, the incident occurred a few weeks ago at Centerpointe Christian preschool in Pleasanton, Calif. A meeting will be held on Tuesday with the parents and school administrators to determine a course of action.
Allegedly, the teacher bound the girl’s hands and feet with masking tape, and, just asking to get caught, took a photo of it. The teacher had been at the school since 2008, but left earlier this year.
The school and the parents only found out about the incident after the teacher showed the picture to her coworkers, which included the girl’s mother, who also works at the school. The mother then reported the incident to the Pleasanton Police.
