Not even Sesame Street is immune from sex scandals.

Kevin Clash, the longtime voice of Elmo, was hit with yet another lawsuit Tuesday for initiating sex with a minor. Clash, 52, was already dealing with a couple of allegations from men claiming Clash sought out sex with them when they were underage. Clash resigned from his job as Elmo’s voice and pupetteer in November to deal with the scandal.

The latest lawsuit was filed Tuesday by Sheldon Stevens, who claims he was only 16 when he met Clash at a networking event for models and actors in 1995. The then-teen swapped contact information with Clash, who then lured the teen to his New York apartment.

Stevens’ lawsuit claims that the two engaged in a sexual relationship over the next few years. This lawsuit is somewhat suspect, though, as it follows a previous lawsuit Stevens settled last year with Clash that ended when Stevens said he fabricated the claims. This new lawsuit, however, adds on allegations that Clash provided Stevens with drugs in addition to luring him to New York for sex.

Other than Stevens, Clash is facing three other men who claim Clash sought them out for sexual encounters when they were still underage. A Florida man was the first to come forward last November, claiming Clash flew him from Miami to New York under the pretense of helping out the then-16-year-old with a place to stay and some money. When the boy arrived, however, Clash initiated sexual encounters with the boy.

Clash met the other two victims over gay phone lines and also lured them to his apartment for sex.

The only statements from Clash have come from his attorney, Michael Berger.

“The federal cases filed against Kevin Clash are without merit,” Berger said. “The cases and Mr. Clash's reputation will be defended vigorously.”
