'Olivia' is a 19-year-old student at New York University who makes up to $800 a week as a part-time "foot prostitute."
Olivia did not give her full name to the New York Post, but said she was introduced to the world of foot fetishism after responding to a Craigslist ad asking for "Girls With Pretty Feet."
After answering the Craigslist ad, Olivia was told to get a pedicure and attend an interview dressed like she was going to a nightclub: a dressy tank top, pants and a pair of black stilettos.
At a Manhattan spa, she saw more than 30 girls, who did not speak English, waiting in the lobby wearing corsets and high heels.
"I thought they said dress like you were going to a club. Apparently, I came a little overdressed," Olivia said.
The man who placed the ad invited each of the girls into a room one-by-one where their feet were inspected. The man told Olivia that he was looking for high arches and small feet.
Only ten of the girls made the cut, including Olivia.
On a typical evening at the spa, the clients arrive with bottles of liquor, as the venue cannot legally sell alcohol.
Once everyone has had a few drinks, the men pay a $100 entrance fee to a "foot pimp" who pairs them up with a "foot prostitute."
The male client then takes their partner off to a private massage room with napkins, lotion and wipes.
Olivia said that a finance man with "a little potbelly" once ripped her black stilettos off with his teeth, massaged her calves, groaned while he sucked her toes and gratified himself fully-dressed.
Olivia said she made made $200 with tip from the 40-minute session, and the man was "polite."
Olivia admitted that it was "weird at first," but said: “There was so much sexuality with little effort. If I’m being honest, there are other ways to make money. But I do consider myself a broke college kid even with my allowance."
“I’ve taken a couple sexuality classes at NYU, so I had a preliminary idea on fetishism but in practice it’s a little different. These guys aren’t hurting anyone, and everyone’s got their thing that turns them on.”
“I didn’t break the law. I didn’t take off my clothes,” Olivia added. "Yes, I showered and changed into clean p.j.’s after, but my morals are still intact.”
