"Miracle on the Hudson" Pilot Sullenberger Returns to Cockpit

Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger returned to the air Thursday, his first flight since he safely landed a disabled U.S. Airways jet in the Hudson River off New York City in January. His trusty 1st Officer Jeffrey Skiles was at his side. The New York Daily News reports Sully got on the plane's PA system and said "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Captain Sullenberger," and then had to wait for a huge wave of excited applause to die down.
