Like we didn’t see this one coming: Miley Cyrus‘ raunchy new music video for the single Who Owns My Heart has been blasted by a parents organisation, claiming its “sexualised” is sending a wrong message to her fans.
In the promo for the single, a scantily-clad Cyrus writhes around in her underwear, warbling, “dancing on the floor with you… I feel you pumping through my veins,” before primping for a night on the town.
Needless to say the promo’s raised eyebrows and invited finger-wagging from the peanut gallery.
Tim Winter, president of the Parents Television Council, has blasted the video.
“It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualised video like this one.” Winter tells TMZ .
“It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point. Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly.”
What do you think? Is Miley getting too raunchy?
