Poor Mitt Romeny. He just can't catch a break.
First it was Sarah Palin rumbling into New Hampshire aboard her tour bus and stealing his thunder on the same day he announced his run for president. Next, Romney wins a GOP debate on CNN -- but nobody wants to talk about that because Rep. Michele Bachmann used the forum to announce her intention to run for the White House in 2012.
Popular VideoPeople were so furious about this Pepsi ad that Pepsi pulled it after just one day. Watch it here and decide if it's offensive:
Despite already filing the paperwork, Bachmann told the TV audience she still expects to make an official declaration later this month in Iowa.
City Pages saw the move as highly strategic: "Her announcement was part of a carefully orchestrated PR campaign. Besides announcing the news on CNN, she posted a video on YouTube, teased it through Facebook, launched a re-branded michelebachmann.com website now says "Bachmann for President," and kicked out an e-mail to supporters under the subject line, "I'm in."
