With a criminal charge looming, Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, is negotiating his surrender to Los Angeles authorities, his attorney said Thursday. Details from the Associated Press:

The doctor was stupid, but many children will be saved the horror of growing up completely messed up because of what he did.
