The Miami Heat announced last week that they will hold their 2010 Training Camp at Hurlburt Field and Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Hurlburt Field, home to the Air Commandos since 1961, is where the Heat will train from Tuesday, September 28 through Sunday, October 3, 2010. The Heat will also be involved in several events on Eglin AFB, which is home to the Air Armament Center and numerous unique missions.
“We requested from Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field the opportunity to train at their facilities,” said Heat President Pat Riley. “They have honored that request and the Miami Heat is extremely humbled to train in an environment where service, sacrifice and discipline are the norm.
