Move over KFC Double Down, there's a new horrible fast food sandwich in town -- Burger King's "Meat Monster" clocks in at an aorta-crushing 1,160 calories.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the aptly named sandwich contains two hamburgers, a chicken breast fillet, two slices of cheese, three pieces of bacon and the usual lettuce, tomatoes and onions.
In addition to the high-calorie count, the Monster packs 24 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat, 2,290 mg of sodium and 13 grams of fat between its two buns.
To put all of this in perspective, a regular Whopper has 670 calories, a Big Mac has 490 calories, and that Double Down has 610 calories. But bad news for American overeaters -- the Meat Monster is only available in Japan, costing 820 yen, or $9.79.
Japanese customers can personalize their sandwich, adding teriyaki sauce, an egg and even a fish patty.
Which means you'd get four animals in one sandwich: Cow, pig, chicken and fish.
