Marine Brags on Facebook About Humiliating Afghani
You'd think he'd have learned a lesson from Abu Ghraib, but apparently not. A U.S. Marine could be in big trouble for going on Facebook and bragging about humiliating an Afghani.
Lionel Garcia posted the following status update from his base in Afghanistan Monday afternoon:
"Well I feel my work here is done. I officially made an afghani hold up a sign that says 'I'm A Faggot' while I took a picture of him, for every else there's master card."

When encouragedd by friends to post the photo, Garcia writes:
"I'll try to post it up later on today, honestly I'll probably go to jail for a hate crime, this has no clue what that signs says and he's holding it with a big ass smile on his face."
One friend of Garcia's equally intelligent friends wrote in response:
"That is awsome... You make emerica proud son..."

Here's the thing, as a Marine he represents the United States of America. As an American, I do not appreciate some idiot making a mockery of any people. We wonder why the Afghanis don't like us....really? I want to think that this idiot is a rogue Marine, however, I am concerned when he has so many friends coaxing him on.
Maybe he should be holding a sign saying, " I am idiot, for everyone else, I apologize, most Marines are decent, responsible, and good."
This is a black eye to the American people. This marine has shamed his country and his corps by engaging in such homophobic, racist behaviour. He should be bounced out of the marine corps, he is a disgrace. And people wonder why America is so often criticized? With idiots like this, it's no wonder.

Yes he is supposed to be an embassador for the US, yes is supposed to emulate everything great about the US. He failed to do that and should be justly punished for it.
