A Florida man was arrested on assault charges after allegedly using his wife's head as a "human mop" to clean up a glass of milk spilled during an argument.

Keith Davidson, 46, became enraged when he went to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in his Fruitland Park home on Jan. 10 and realized there was no jelly, according to a police report obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.

Davidson allegedly blamed his wife for the missing jelly, and in the resulting argument, she accidentally knocked over a glass of milk. That's when Davidson became violent, threw his wife to the floor, and used her head to mop up the spilled beverage.

"He turned into a monster," the victim told Florida's WESH. "To use me as a dish mop, it's not the first, not the second, not the third time. But I can't take no more.”

The victim was able to dial 911, and police said the victim had "significant bruising" when they arrived, WESH reported. The victim showed those bruises to WESH on camera, but the station was careful not to identify her, as is policy for domestic violence victims.

In a recording of the 911 call, also obtained by WESH, Davidson tries to justify using his wife as a mop, yelling to the dispatcher in the middle of the struggle.

Davidson has previous arrests for drugs and battery, but the TV station did not say whether those arrests resulted in conviction. In this recent incident, he was charged with assault and sent to Lake County Jail, where he was released after posting $1,000 bail.

"You can love someone with all your heart, but if they're not going to be a good person for you, in your life, then it's time to just say goodbye," the victim said. "And it's the hardest thing for me."
