Oh, it’s on like Donkey Kong between the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic.
In a war to win hearts, minds and fans, the two best teams in the Eastern Conference have been lobbing insults across the Sunshine State all summer long. It was more of the same at the Orlando Magic’s media day on Monday when the team made sure it didn't miss a single opportunity to bash the Heat.
The trash talk started with the team’s young (but huge) All-Star center Dwight Howard. When asked how he felt about the his team’s new rivals, Howard had this to say:
"I got tired of the Heat as soon as LeBron James announced he was going to Miami,''
The reaction is surprising, because many at The Daily Heat were under the impression only white people had gotten tired of James.
