Lynda Carter Miffed That Megan Fox Dissed Wonder Woman

Actress Lynda Carter, who played the original Wonder Woman, has a bit of advice for Megan Fox, who is set to take on the same role in a series based on the classic character being developed by David E. Kelly.

On Fox and Friends, Lynda said,

“Megan Fox actually kind of trashed Wonder Woman. She said she thought it was dumb, like 'What’s the big whoop making people tell the truth?’ I like her, I just thought she shouldn’t trash Wonder Woman.”

Last year, when rumors began circulating that Fox was under consideration for the role, she told the London Times that Wonder Woman was a “lame superhero.”

“She flies around in her invisible jet, and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth,” Fox said. “I just don’t get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands, whoever takes that role, but I don’t want to do it.”
