Louisiana Justice Defends Not Marrying Interracial Couple

A justice of the peace in Louisiana stands by his decision to not marry an interracial couple, a decision the couple's son says has taken an emotional toll. Now, some political groups are calling for the justice to lose his job. The Associated Press has the story:

    Wrong headline.

    It should read, "Louisiana Justice ATTEMPTS to Defend Not Marrying Interracial Couple." There is no defense for being racist . Even if the B.S. he is laying down were true, it's not his place to make that decision for them.
