Lindsay Lohan Poses as Jesus for French Magazine

Actress Lindsay Lohan is featured on the cover of the latest edition of the French fashion magazine, Purple, wearing a low-neck white outfit with her hands outstretched and a crown of thorns on her head. Catholic League president Bill Donohue had this to say about it:

Not only is the pose inappropriate, the timing is offensive: Lent begins next week.

Lohan, an ex-Catholic who is spiritually homeless, recently said, “I’m all about Karma…what goes around comes around.” If she believes that, then it behooves her to apologize to Christians before it’s too late.

Looks like Tiger Woods is not the only celebrity who would benefit by converting to Christianity these days. Forgiveness occupies a central place in Christianity, but the predicate to forgiveness is repentance.

The atheists come out of the woodwork with nothing to offer in the way of substantial arguments but ridicule...

Oddly enough, Jesus predicted that!

I'm sure that medical research that proves that there is no connection between vaccines and autism is offensive to Jenny McCarthy.

The cartoons in the Danish newspaper were offensive to some muslims.

The pope claiming that the proposed equality laws in the UK are offensive to his god 's creation are offensive to me.

If Lindsay Logan's caricature is offensive to the delusional who believe in a 2000 year old superstition, SO WHAT?

It is really childish and unbelievable immature to demand an apology from anyone who says, writes, paints, sings, makes anything that someone finds offensive.

Throw all your superstitions overboard and live and let live.

See, this is the problem with our catholics friends. They're always "seeing" images or aparitions of the "virgin", here, there and anywhere. Left and right!

The Plastic mental ideas and images of a Jesus painted on a wall, or carved on a piece of wood, or cast in a ceramic figure are so ingrained in their souls. That they get offended by something or someone who is really nothing in the world. Just because it appears, or looks familiar or similar to that which they think is the real thing, and are so accustomed to see.

Then some of them in the catholic league get all upset and raise a fuzz about something that should really be ignored. Then again that's one of theirs preocupations. However they should be equally offended by their own imaginations of Jesus as a figure painted on wall.

The priest molestations and following cover-ups are why I will always have a special disdain for the catholic church .

I think it's funny that the Catholic League is trying to copy the Scientology schtick of recruiting celebrities . I guess you can teach and old dog new tricks.

Celebrities need the love of Christ too. Jesus Loves them too!
