Soccer player Landon Donovan scored the winning goal in the U.S.' World Cup game against Algeria on Wednesday -- and he may have also won back the affections of estranged wife Bianca Kajlich.

Kajlich is an actress who currently stars in the CBS sitcom "Rules of Engagement." Donovan and Kajlich wed on New Year's Eve 2006, and separated in 2009. During a post-game interview on the field, Donovan said, "Hi, Bianca," and blew the camera a kiss meant for Kajlich. Later that evening, the couple had what's reported to be an emotional phone conversation.

"We are not officially divorced... we spoke last night. It was nice," Donovan told Yahoo! Sports. "I've carried her with me through this tournament and she's been a part of this with me, and I'm lucky to have her," he said at the post-game press conference. When a reporter asked if he and Kajlich were getting back together, Donovan grinned, "What is this, Access Hollywood?"

Donovan's goal, which came in the 91st minute of the U.S.-Algeria face-off, won the game for the Americans. The team advances to the Round of 16 and plays Ghana Saturday.
