Protect the Kids: Lakers Artest Says No to Legal Marijuana

You can always count on Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest to stand up for what’s good and right in the world. No one thinks about the kids, society or where people’s hard earned tax dollars go as much as the man known around L.A. as simply “Ron-Ron.”

While speaking with Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register, Artest surprisingly (not really) weighed in on the measure currently on the California ballot that would legalize marijuana use in the state.

So there you have it. The man who once admitted to drinking before his games while on the Chicago Bulls roster (who wouldn’t?) has turned over a new leaf. Ron-Ron just says no to the weed.
