Kings of Leon Concert Canceled After Tour Bus Fire

Two of Kings of Leon's tour buses were completely destroyed in a fire backstage at a stadium in Greenwich, England.Sixty firefighters were on scene, and six people were treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire started in the stadium's loading area.

Kings of Leon were in Greenwich to play the last date of their European tour, set to take place Tuesday, December 21, but they had to cancel after the bus fire. They canceled the concert, and they'll reschedule for a date yet to be announced.

Columbia Records, the band's record label, issued this statement:

With great regret tonight’s Kings Of Leon concert at London’s 02 Arena has been postponed. Kings of Leon send their sincerest apologies to all the fans who were planning & travelling to attend what was due to be a triumphant finale to their European tour tonight. The date will be rescheduled in 2011 at the first available opportunity.
